Standing Together Against Domestic Violence

March 4, 2026

A Community United

Leeton & District Bowling Club stands with our community in supporting the prevention of domestic violence against women. As a local club at the heart of our community, we believe everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and supported – both at home and in the community.

Domestic and family violence has a devastating impact on individuals, families and communities across Australia. The statistics are sobering: 1 in 4 Australian women have experienced violence from an intimate partner or family member since the age of 15. These numbers represent real people in our community who need our support and understanding.

Creating Change Together

By raising awareness and encouraging open conversations, we can all play a role in helping prevent violence and supporting those who may be affected. Change begins with awareness, and awareness begins with communities like ours standing together and speaking up.

At Leeton Bowls, we’re committed to fostering a safe and respectful environment for all our members and visitors. We believe that by taking a stand and promoting these important conversations, we can contribute to building a safer, more respectful community for everyone.
