Outstanding Weekend at the NSW Rookie Singles Qualifiers

Congratulations to Leeton & District Bowling Club members Ben Pope and Dean Carmichael, who represented the club at the NSW Rookie Singles Qualifiers held at Wagga RSL Club over the weekend.

Both Ben and Dean were in outstanding form throughout the event, winning all of their games before meeting each other in a head-to-head match for a place in the final. It was a fantastic contest, with both players bowling brilliantly and doing the club proud.

Ben Pope Finishes Runner Up

Ben went on to contest the final and finished as runner up – an incredible achievement at a state-level qualifying event. To win through the field and reach the final is a tremendous result, and the entire club is proud of what Ben accomplished on the day.

Dean’s performance was equally impressive, making it all the way to that decisive head-to-head match against his fellow club member. Having two Leeton bowlers face off for a spot in the final speaks volumes about the talent coming through the club.

A huge congratulations to both Ben and Dean on a fantastic weekend of bowls. You’ve represented Leeton & District Bowling Club with distinction. We look forward to seeing what comes next for you both!
