Leeton Women Competing at the 2025/26 Bowls NSW TAB State Championships

The 2025/26 Bowls NSW TAB State Championships are scheduled from 22 June to 8 July, hosted across Club Dubbo, Dubbo RSL Sporties, and Macquarie Club. Leeton and District Bowling Club will have our women competing in three events: the Open Triples, Fours, and the Senior Pairs.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for our women to represent the club at the highest level of competition in New South Wales. For full details on the championships, visit the Bowls NSW State Championships page.

Recent Highlights for Leeton Women

The 2024-25 Women’s State Pennant Finals were held on 11-13 March 2025 at Figtree Sports, Woonona Bowling and Recreation Club, and Wiseman Park Wollongong City Bowling Club in the Wollongong Region. The event brought together over 600 competitors from clubs across New South Wales, competing across four divisions for a coveted State Pennant title.

Our Leeton and District Women’s Division 4 side made it through to the quarter finals – a tremendous achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our players and their commitment to the club.

At the 2026 NSW Inter-Region Sides Championships, held on 6-8 February 2026 at Evans Head and Yamba bowling clubs, the Riverina Murray women came third in their section. The Inter-Region Sides Championships are the pinnacle events for individuals representing their Region at Open and Senior level, with all 16 NSW Regions competing. These events also form part of the NSW State Selection pathway, giving players the chance to push their claims for higher representative honours.

It’s been a strong period of representative bowls for our women, and we’re looking forward to seeing them take on the 2025/26 State Championships. Good luck to all involved!
